Retro Engine v5

Retro Engine v5, debuting in 2017, is the version of RSDK used for Sonic Mania (Plus). A version of the engine adding backwards compatibility with RSDKv3/4 games, among other changes, called Retro Engine v5Ultimate (v5U), debuted in 2022, being used in Sonic Origins.
